What happens when 40 age advocates get together? A lot!

As some of you know, I co-created an anti-ageism website called Old School.  Three weeks ago we hosted a gathering called Summer School at Concordia University, in downtown Montréal. Forty people—designers, educators, organizers, troublemakers—traveled across North America and from as far away as Portugal. We came together to envision a world without ageism and filled the space with ideas and actions—and a lot of post-its.

The Old School team did our best to capture what transpired during those two-and-a-half days. Check out my latest newsletter for links to what came out of each session. Whether you graze or really dig in, don’t miss the Ten Guiding Questions that emerged from our time together. If you couldn’t make it to Summer School—we had a waiting list!—you’ll be glad to know we all agreed that age advocates should get together more often.
