KBShimmer Amber & Oakmoss Sugar Scrub – $10 – No Cap
Walking through the woods can be eerie, especially around Halloween. The crunch of leaves underfoot, the dim light filtering through bare branches, and the stillness of the forest can make even the bravest souls want to head home before dark. It’s this haunting atmosphere that inspired our vintage Halloween scent, Amber & Oakmoss.
This complex fragrance features warm amber and deep oakmoss notes that evoke the scent of a forest. Gentle hints of cashmere are complemented by fresh citrus and white florals, creating a captivating aroma that invites you to take another whiff. The unisex scent, with its fun orange color, is the perfect way to welcome the fall season.
I welcome this scent. I feel like sometimes all of the October ones are Halloween candy based and so artificially sweet. This one is just a really nice natural fresh set. It doesn’t really push me in any direction except that I like this it doesn’t give me a headache and I want to use it lol But it’s not masculine.
KBShimmer That’s The Spirit Nail Polish – $13.00 – No Cap
As the leaves turn and fall décor emerges, many of us remember our homes filled with fun Halloween-themed candles. Wax figures of witches, pumpkins, ghosts, black cats, and clowns were carefully unpacked and displayed each year, becoming a beloved part of our childhood Halloween celebrations. This nostalgic tradition inspired our “vintage” Halloween crelly polish.
That’s The Spirit is a creamy white crelly formula packed with hex glitters. It features classic black and orange hex glitters in various sizes, making it a perfect choice for Halloween. This polish provides full coverage with two coats for short nails, but those with longer nails or visible nail lines may prefer three coats
That’s The Spirit: 3 coats plus smooth moves and topcoat. Those who have very short nails or no visible nail line will get away with two coats. Even though I have very short nails right now, my nail line is extremely white and opaque so I did three coats. With each coat, I tried to distribute different size glitters over the nail, which is how I usually do that with these polishes. I don’t like to maneuver too much with glitter for the first coat, knowing that I have a few more coats on top. This one is perfectly Halloween, but the white base makes it a little less darker for those who don’t care to wear dark nail polishes.
Of course I had to matte this polish. I love how the glitters look like they are floating. I swore I had a KB like this, but I do not at all, so I must have made this one up haha.
